On this day, we remember with honour and pride members of the Rhodesian forces who paid the ultimate sacrifice. May they rest in eternal peace.

1977 – District Security Assistant Johannes BUNGWE, Keep Protection, Intaf, KIA. Killed at Chipinga, Op Thrasher.

1978 – Dip Supervisor Mzingwane DUBE, ADF, Intaf, murdered. Killed by CTs.

1978 – Detective Sergeant Prosper TANI, CID, BSAP, killed on active service. Killed aged 26 in accidental shooting at Chabweno farm, Enterprise when engaged by a PATU stick at night. Prosper was in Pseudo role with SB Projects section at the time. His private funeral was held in Ft Victoria.

1979 – Sergeant John Zindoga HAMANDISHE, 1st Battalion, RAR, KIA. Killed in a CT action.

“So for those who fell in battle, let us stand,

Remember just for what they died,
